About
Jerome Paul was a theoretical physicist working in the research and development laboratories of a classified private organization. Some years ago he requested funding to continue research into his specialized field of interest, quantum mechanics, and with the help of an anonymous benefactor was able to set up his own laboratory in an abandoned warehouse by the waterfront. Unfortunately, due to his tendencies to work late into the night, sleep at odd times, and eat cheap delivery food, he did not know of the city’s impending plans to raze the warehouse to make way for condo development.
It is not known whether Paul managed to survive the demolition or not, but rumor has it that he had, in fact, perfected a method of transforming human consciousness into an organized series of photons. This, coupled with the strange machinery found in the wake of the disaster, leads well-informed minds to believe that Jerome Paul is alive and well, albeit in an unusual fashion. His entire repository of being now rests in cyberspace, and continues to evolve in unexpected ways.
The proper authorities have been notified, and measures are being taken to harness this intelligence.
